Over the past few days, Bollywood Hungama has been reporting about the advance bookings the Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra has been enjoying. In fact, the Ayan Mukherji directorial, which has been generating massive hype, has managed to entice the audience. Now, the latest is that Brahmastra has managed to surpass the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in terms of ticket sales.
As per reports, Brahmastra has sold over 1 lakh tickets across PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis for its first day alone. While PVR has registered 53,527 tickets being sold, INOX follows close behind with the sale of 30,758 tickets followed by Cinepolis which has clocked 15,993 tickets being sold. Interestingly, when compared with the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which hit screens earlier this year had registered 92,000 tickets being sold for its first day. On the other hand, Brahmastra which has already sold 1,00,278 tickets for its first day, is still to see sales figures coming in from single screens and smaller properties.
Currently, Brahmastra, which is enjoying a good spate of advance bookings, is expected to open to a flying start. Going by the current trend trade predictions claim that the film will see a good opening with strong double-digits being registered on Day 1.
