The dark horse at the box office last December was the Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 that saw business grow by leaps and bounds as the days progressed. After drawing in Rs. 25.40 in its third week, which was 25.74% higher than its second week collections the business of Pushpa remained more or less stable in its fourth week.
Collecting a further Rs. 11.45 cr in week 4 the total collections of Pushpa: The Rise are currently pegged at Rs. 83.94 cr. Tough the fourth week business of the film has seen a decline of 54.92%, with filmmakers opting to postpone the release of new ventures, it is expected that the business of Pushpa will see further growth.
In fact, trade predictions state that the business of Pushpa: The Rise will near the Rs. 90 cr mark by the end of its fifth week running.
