The BIG Friday is round the corner. Akshay Kumar's much awaited Jolly LLB 2 is set for release and as has been the case for most of his last few releases, this one too is arriving amidst good deal of positivity. Right from the time it was announced, there was good deal of curiosity to check out what did the superstar have to offer in the franchise affair. This film too has been wrapped up in quick time with planned marketing and promotion in designated time, something that has again emerged as a hallmark of Akshay Kumar films. From the first look to the theatrical promo to the follow up teasers, everything has worked.
All of that has assured that the film is pretty much safe from the economical standpoint. Quick shooting schedule with curb on unnecessary expenses has been working for Akshay Kumar in a big way already. This has kept the costs in controlled with profits coming in within a week's run itself. The same is now expected from the Subhash Kapoor directed film as well which was wrapped up in less than 40 days. The film is indeed coming across as an entertainer that would appeal to the A, B as well as C centres and that too across single screens and multiplexes, something that would keep the exhibitors busy.
This pretty much translates into the fact that an opening day number of around Rs. 12 to 14 crore is very much on the cards. Jolly LLB 2 is the solo notable release of the week with a pan-India appeal and audiences, who have been waiting to catch a new film for a fortnight since the arrival of Raees and Kaabil are starved for new entertainment. Expect good audience footfalls to welcome the film once it hits the screens this Friday.
