It seems like the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Padmaavat is set on setting new benchmark records. Though the release of the Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer was massively delayed, it certainly looks like the postponement of the film hasn’t really affected its box office collections. In fact, Padmaavat after opening to a rather good start in almost all overseas markets has done it yet again. As per reports the Padmaavat box office collections have taken off to a flying start at the Singapore box office.
Going by reports from Carnival Movies International/ Singapore Distributors the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat has managed to draw in a massive SGD 294K [Rs. 1.43 cr] at the Singapore box office. Interestingly, the film which enjoyed an extended four day weekend released across 20 screens in Singapore. Distributed by Carnival Movies International (CMI) the film saw its business grow over the weekend.
However, collections dropped marginally on Monday, Day 5, which is a usual scenario for most releases. As of now, the total box office earning of Padmaavat at the Singapore box office is pegged at SGD 3,18,840.50 [Rs. 1.54 cr] till date.
