Box Office: Dilwale becomes Shah Rukh Khan’s 5th Highest Opening Weekend grosser

Dilwale, directed by Rohit Shetty, featuring none other than Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon hit screens on Friday. The film which opened to good responses has

been doing well at the box office.


In this box office analysis, we compare the Opening Weekend Collections of Dilwale to that of Shah Rukh Khan's previous releases. Interestingly despite the hype surrounding Dilwale

the film that collected Rs. 65.09 crores ranks as the actor's fifth highest opening weekend grosser losing out to his previous releases like Happy New Year that collected Rs. 108.86 cr,

Chennai Express that collected Rs. 100.42 cr, Ra.One that collected Rs. 92 cr and Jab Tak Hai Jaan that collected Rs. 80.73 cr. However Dilwale did manage to fare better

than Shah Rukh's Don 2 that collected Rs. 48.39 cr and My Name is Khan that collected Rs. 30 cr.
