The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal that released weeks ago in the Chinese market seems to be near unstoppable in its march at the box office. After opening on a good note, the business of Dangal witnessed growth as time passed with each weekend notching higher box office figures than the last.
After a brief dip in collections, it seems that the business of Dangal is now on the rebound again. In fact, after posting higher collections figures over the past few days, the film has now managed to rake in USD 8.05 million [Rs. 52.05 cr] on Day 25 in the Chinese market. Though the recent Hollywood title, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales takes the number one slot Dangal that released much earlier as compared to other films on the list still manages to hold the second slot.
With this the total collections of Dangal within the Chinese market current stands at USD 145.61 million [Rs. 941.55 cr]. But with the film still managing to draw in the audience, it won’t be long before the business of Dangal blows past the Rs. 950 cr or for that matter even the Rs. 1000 cr mark at the box office.
