The Sabbir Khan directed action flick Baaghi featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff that hit screens in India yesterday has been doing well overseas. In fact Baaghi opened to a spectacular start with estimated collections being pegged at USD 850 K (Rs. 5.64 cr) with some screens and territories yet to report.
In fact the Gulf box office collection estimated for Thursday and Friday cumulative is AED 1.81 million or USD 493 K making it the third highest opening of 2016 in the territory so far and about 3 times that of Tiger Shroff's previous release Heropanti. This is the highest opening for both Tiger and Shraddha in the region.
As for the Pakistan box office, Baaghi has recorded the second highest opening for 2016 with USD 161 K/ PKR 1.64 Cr which is 6 times that of Heropanti, and once again is the highest opening for both Tiger and Shraddha in the region.
In the overseas territory of North America the Friday box office collection of Baaghi is at USD 63 K with 15 locs yet to report which is more than 6 times that of the Heropanti opening. While Australia collection is at USD 15 K/ AUD 19.5 K which is higher than ABCD 2. Further reports also state that the UK Friday box office collection for Baaghi is USD 31 K / GBP 20 K with 1 loc yet to report.
