The Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil directed by Karan Johar released a couple of weeks back. The film which faced a bit of opposition before it’s released has however been faring well in both the domestic and international markets.
In this box office report we take a look at the overall worldwide collections of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil while comparing them to previously released films of 2016. Collecting Rs. 223.42 crores gross worldwide Ae Dil Hai Mushkil becomes the second highest worldwide grosser of 2016 preceded by the Salman Khan starrer Sultan that collected Rs. 567 cr.
On the other hand Ae Dil Hai Mushkil does manage to surpass previous releases like Airlift that collected Rs. 219 cr, Rustom that collected Rs. 215 cr and M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story that collected Rs. 214 cr.
