The Kabir Khan directed Bajrangi Bhaijaan featuring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan entered the highly exclusive Rs. 300 crore club few days back. While others are congratulating the
makers of the film on this achievement, we decided to take a comparative look at the only two films, Aamir Khan's PK and Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which have crossed this
mark.
In this box office analysis, we compare Aamir Khan's PK and Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan over its first 21 day period run to check which movie scored over the other on a daily
basis as well as looking at the weekends, week days and weekly basis. Interestingly, from the 21 days PK took charge leading with higher collections across 14 days, while Bajrangi
Bhaijaan scored in 7 days. Moving to the weekend charts Salman's Bajrangi Bhaijaan clearly dominates the opening and second weekend, while Aamir's PK takes the lead in third
weekend.
Coming to the weekly charts, it is PK that leads dominating the second and third week, while Bajrangi Bhaijaan took the lead in its Opening Week. However, looking at both the film's
collections on a daily basis, with reference to weekdays only, it is PK which scores in all three weeks.
