It was a good score yet again for Bhooth Bangla as it made the most of Blockbuster Tuesday offer. The tickets were available at reduced prices and that helped the film retain momentum that had been set ever since it arrived at Paid Preview shows on Thursday. Friday was good, Saturday saw very good jump, Sunday saw added growth, Monday was stable and now Tuesday has given it further push.
This was seen from Rs. 9.30 crores more that came on Tuesday, which is much ahead of Rs. 8.10 crores that had come on Monday. A jump like this always helps and though this will mean a drop in numbers today due to ticket prices getting back to normal and a large count of footfalls already evidenced yesterday, the mid-week push has resulted in added word of mouth to be generated that will come in handy in the second weekend.
The Akshay Kumar starrer now stands at Rs. 82.65 crores and Rs. 90 crores mark would be comfortably crossed tomorrow with some more added to the total as well. That would be a good score for the film which is now a bonafide success, and all that one waits to see now is that how much far ahead of the Rs. 135-140 crores range will it go from here.
