Ranbir Kapoor has been going through a positive patch in his career currently. He has had three films on a row that have performed well at the box office in the form of Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and, the latest one, Animal. In fact, the third one has not only become successful but has also taken the box office by storm. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga movie has earned a mammoth amount of Rs. 338.63 crores so far in as less as just six days.
Animal has become Ranbir’s second film to enter the Rs. 300 Crores Club. Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are the other 2 actors to have two films in the Rs. 300 Crores Club. Aamir’s PK and Dangal went onto earn Rs. 340.8 crores and Rs. 387.38 crores at the box office. On the other hand, SRK’s Jawan and Pathaan finished their box office runs at Rs. 643.87 crores and Rs. 543.05 crores.
Salman Khan is the only Bollywood actor ahead of Aamir, SRK and Ranbir as he has three films in the Rs. 300 Crores Club in the form of Sultan (Rs. 300.45 crores), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs. 320.34 crores) and Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs. 339.16 crores).
Interestingly, Shah Rukh is the only actor to have two films in the Rs. 500 Crores Club and one film in the Rs. 600 Crores Club. Going by how strong Animal is going at the box office, it looks like the film will enter the Rs. 500 Crores Club.
