In terms of screen average, the film is better than RANG DE BASANTI [£ 5,822], HUMKO DEEWANA KAR GAYE [£ 4,604], PHIR HERA PHERI [£ 3,482], KRRISH [£ 4,576], LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI [£ 6,136], DON [£ 5,715] and UMRAO JAAN [£ 3,487]. At the rate it's faring, BAABUL should easily cross the entire business of BAGHBAN in U.K. [£ 748,028] in a few weeks from now. In Australia, BAABUL has had a good average start.
Meanwhile, the biggest hit of the season, DHOOM 2, has crossed Rs. 21.75 crores [gross] from the five markets -- U.K., U.S.A., Australia, New Zealand and Netherlands [see figures below]. Phenomenal!
