Dhoom 2 .... it cannot be considered as a sequel to Dhoom. Nothing new and nothing special here. You have the irritating Uday, the trying to be serious Abhi and the exposing Bipasha (she is hot but there is no reason to wear a bikini or for that matter there is no need of her). Ofcourse you have the super cool Hrithik (Excellent!) and Ash (lip to lip kiss with Hrithik) but they are not enough to handle a movie that has no punch in it. The music is below average, too. Stunts, action sequences, etc are totally idiotic. Watch this movie only if have nothing better to do. And if you think this movie deserves 4.5/5 ... please see a doctor and stop writing reviews. PLEASE save your money and dont watch the movie. It doesnt take Indian cinema to anywhere, it only makes you feel sick

What an absolutely awesome movie. i usually don't agree with reviews because they are mainly based on commercial success and for the masses, but this movie is for everyone. i mean where to start and where to end. it was an edge of the seat thriller. firstly i did not agree with the music reviews that d 2 did not have good songs. i liked them from the very start and after watching hritiks and aish's dances they are even better. the choroegraphy was fantastic and the execution by those 2 were even better. i have been brought up on hollywood movies but i can say the stunts in this movie would match any other hollywood movie. individually hritik and aish mindblowing, uday good with his antics, abhishek did justice to his role,it was not his movie and thats the bottom line. the villian was more glamorous and so we all liked him more than a cold police officer. moreover he did not have many dialouges and the attitude and class set by hritik and aish was just a little too much too handle. overall go and watch dhoom 2 if u do manage to get a ticket and i'll go off to watch it a second time. GO DHOOM

It's a begining of new era in Bollywood. This film will take the indian cinema to a different level in its technic and stlye. Its all Hrithik Movie, mind blowing performance, stunts, dances and what not. he has carried the whole movie on his shoulders. Some may feel the second half a bit slow paced but it is required, because if whole film is crafted by robbery, chases and stunts it would look monotonous. Except for the happy ending climax rest of the movie is amazing right from the Namibia desert train scene to the climax tunnel bike chase. Its not easy to make such high quality movies everyday. Every body should be commended for the efforts, especially Director Sanjay Gandhvi, Producer Aditya Chopra, Stun master Alan Amin and other crew. Forgot to mention the deftly handles pistol shoot out confrontation scene between Hrithik and Aishwarya....amazing. I would say its Hrithiks movie....the New Super Star of India the youngest to happen and Genuine Super Star after Amitab Bachchan. Don't go by the reviews, go and watch the movie its worth a watch.................

Dhoom is worth the money - every penny of it, what it lacks in is sense. Police and thief tale, police consider thief cool, they chases thief without back up at all times and do not arrest him/her when they can without stunts and fake fight sequences. Besides that, Hrithik & Uday steal the show, Abhishek sparks in the limited situations he gets to show his talent but his spark is enough to get him accolades. Bipash is much better than Ash, Ash sucks and her saying "Like" is forced and not cool at all. However, Dhoom 2 is good entertainment.

[b][SIZE=14]MY REVIEW!![/SIZE][/b] I have ONE word to describe this movie: [color=red][b][SIZE=14]HOT[/SIZE][/b][/color]. I dont mean just HOT, i mean SIZZLING, BURNING, ON FIRE kind of hot!!! This movie is exactly what I expected, nothing more and nothing less. It's a perfect entertainer/popcorn flick whatever you want to call it! It's just so much fun to watch! I think everyone knows its a cops and robbers story so I'll get straight to the rest. THE PERFORMANCES: Abhishek- Looks totally lost in this movie. I mean he's ok in a few scenes but he's the most BORING of the entire cast and infuses NO life into the character. Also, he doesnt look like he belongs to DHOOM 2. While the rest of the cast (even Uday!) have amazing bodies and look fantastic, Abhi looks frumpy. Disappointed! Bipasha- She is just too hot!!! I love her as the cop she was really awesome...her intro was GREAT! But as Monali I didn't like her as much. She's completely thrown to the backseat in the second half and doesn't get much scope. Impressive in the first half, decent in the second. Uday- Just like the first Dhoom, Uday has the best one-liners and gets the most laughs from the audience. Rarely he gets annoying but most of the time he's really funny. Great job, very entertaining character. Aishwarya- MAN OH MAN...WHAT CAN I SAY?! She looked SOOOO hot! Even though she comes into the movie only a bit before interval she leaves a definite Aishwarya stamp on this movie. Ash has scored fantastically in what is a completely new avatar for her. The only thing she could have improved on is some of her line delivery. But she totally lived up to my expectations. AWESOME! Hrithik- DHOOM 2=HRITHIK. That's all there is to it. D2 would not be possible without Hrithik's BRILLIANT performance. He is absolutely fantastic and there is not even ONE aspect I can think of that he could have improved on. He is the definite scene stealer of the film. PERFECT PERFORMANCE! The Hrithik-Ash chemistry is sizzzzzzzzzzzzlinggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!! They are going to be the hottest new pair and im sure theyre going to get tons of offers together after this. And the kiss...you just have to see it for yourself! It's not a french and its not a peck...its more like he kisses her....just TOO hot. All their scenes together set the screen on FIREEEEEEEE! Best Scenes: -Hrithik's heists -Abhishek and Hrithik realise each others' identity -Ash and Hrithik meet for the first time -Climax scene -Ash and Hrithik gun scene...SO GOOD! The songs all look great on screen, my favourite being Dhoom Again and Crazy Kiya Re. I wish Touch Me had better coreography though, it could have been a hot song. Costumes are fantastic, except for Abhishek. Everyone is presented in a different way and it looks great. The makeup is absoloutely AMAZING...Hrithik's disguises and even Ash's are soooooooo amazing! You just have to see it to believe it. Overall this movie is a COMPLETE entertainer. It has all the characteristics of a "masala" film, and more. All I can say is...everyone GO DHOOM AGAIN! DHOOM:2 (D2), one of my most awaited movies of 2006. I liked Dhoom because it had the right amount of gloss to make up for the lack of content. With D2, things get bigger in scale - lesser content, and increased gloss. Let me sum up the movie in one line before I begin to act like ‘Critic Roshan’ - it’s a good watch, provided you leave your logic outside the theatre. D2 belongs to Hrithik Roshan all the way. His look, action sequences, dances, makeup, are all perfect. He brings conviction even to the most unconvincing scenes. In fact, he looks more like a superhero in this movie than he did in Krrish. Overall the movie is like one of the Mithun-era movies where things happen not because the story demands it, but because the director wants it. It seems like Hrithik has carried over his supernatural powers from Krrish. Bipasha’s character has no meaning in the movie. It comes and goes without a reason. Uday Chopra is the same as in the original. He and everybody else in the movie (minus Abhishek) has worked hard on their bodies. Uday must have told Aditya Chopra (Producer) ‘bhaiya bhaiya, mujhe Bipasha ke saath kaam karna hai’ Aishwarya needs to take acting classes asap. Somebody needs to tell her that looks cannot compensate for good acting (I can feel Aish-fans declaring a war against me). She is not convincing at all in her role. Now that Aish and Abhishek are dating, maybe Abhishek can teach her acting, and Aish can give Abhishek the much needed dancing lessons. He is pathetic in the only song he dances to. +ves: - Excellent look and glamor throughout - Hrithik Roshan does a very good job - Stunts and makeup are A class -ves: - Most of songs are not justified in the movie - Average screenplay - Length of the movie (first half is much better) Watch it in the theatre!

This Movie has gotta be the funniest bolywood movie this year... heck! it was insane, n i couldnt help laughin out loud at the retarded moments - hrithink jumping back on the train, the museum scene, the roller-skating chase scene etc. N although Bips was soooo very HOTTT, she was redundant...n the thief has to celebrate with a song everytime he does a chori...HAHAHAH! (No wonder the songs were so dull!) All said and done, this movie is only to be watched with your brains left at home...coz its so very timepass... I wouldnt suggest you not to watch the movie at all, its a one time watch. It is fast paced, but i still dont understand why so many songs were included... N as much as the movie tries to be technically advanced with soo SFX n CGI, it still is a bollywood movie, with ur typical bollywood type of action sequences... o, n hrithik still has the krissh effect, hehehe!
