Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have wrapped an important shooting schedule of their upcoming film Ranabaali in the Rayalaseema region, expressing gratitude to the local community for their support and hospitality. The makers recently shared a video on social media featuring the lead actors as they concluded the schedule shot in a village in Rayalaseema. The team has been filming extensively at real locations, a choice that adds both authenticity and logistical challenges to the production. Recreating a specific time period while working in natural settings requires detailed planning, and the makers appear to be prioritising realism in their approach.

 

According to the team, efforts have been made to build an environment that reflects the era in which the story is set. From production design to on-ground execution, the film aims to present a visually immersive experience rooted in historical detail. This emphasis on authenticity has been a key aspect of the film’s production strategy so far.

 

The schedule also witnessed an enthusiastic response from locals, with Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna receiving a warm welcome throughout their stay. The actors acknowledged the affection they received, thanking the people of the region for their continued support during the shoot. The team also visited a temple in the area to seek blessings before wrapping up the schedule.

 

 

Ranabaali marks the on-screen reunion of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, making it one of the most talked-about pairings in recent times. The film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Y. Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under Mythri Movie Makers, in association with T-Series.

 

The project also features international actor Arnold Vosloo as part of its ensemble cast, adding to its scale and global appeal. Positioned as a historical drama, the film aims to bring lesser-known stories and real-life incidents from India’s past to the forefront.

 

With production progressing steadily, Ranabaali is slated for a theatrical release on September 11, 2026.
