Amongst the Indian originals that have been already announced, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 12th August 2020. Inspired by true events, the film takes you on Gunjan Saxena’s journey through family, dreams, and determination, as she became India’s first female Air Force officer to fly in a combat zone during the 1999 Kargil War. Capturing the essence of her life, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is an ode to her dedication towards achieving her dreams. Produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is directed by Sharan Sharma and stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role, alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Vineet Kumar Singh, Manav Vij, and Ayesha Raza.
In the international space, Work It movie is arriving this week. When Quinn Ackerman’s admission to the college of her dreams depends on her performance at a dance competition, she forms a ragtag group of dancers to take on the best squad in school...now she just needs to learn how to dance. Starring Sabrina Carpenter, Liza Koshy, Keiynan Lonsdale, Drew Ray Tanner, with Michelle Buteau and Jordan Fisher, the film premieres on August 7.
