EXCLUSIVE: Uunchai star Parineeti Chopra wants Priyanka Chopra’s daughter Malti Marie to watch THIS film when she grows up

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra had back-to-back three film releases in 2021 with Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Saina and The Girl On the Train. She was most recently seen in Code Name: Tiranga where she played the role of a spy. The film failed to work at the box office. But, during the promotion of the movie, the actress sat down with Bollywood Hungama to discuss various topics including some personal conversations too. The actress, who is currently gearing up for Uunchai, was asked about her niece Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, daughter of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.

During the rapid fire round, when asked what would be the one film of hers she would want her niece to watch once she grows up, the actress said, “If MM had to watch any of my films, it would have to be Hasee Toh Phasee because that’s my most kid-friendly film. I would want her to know that Tisha maasi is a crazy person and Hasee Toh Phasee would give her craziness. I would recommend that film.”

 

Parineet Chopra spent some quality time with her niece while she was in Los Angles sometime ago on Priyanka's 40th birthday. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child through surrogacy earlier this year. "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family," Chopra announced via social media in January 2022. Their daughter was pre-mature and baby girl spent 100 days in NICU before she was brought home by her parents.

 

On the work front, Parineeti Chopra will next star in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai. Produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films and Boundless Media, Uunchai is a film that promises to celebrate emotion, relationships and age. The film is headlined by Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Sarika, Neena Gupta and Parineeti Chopra, with special performances by Danny Denzongpa and Nafisa Ali Sodhi. It is slated to be released on November 11, 2022.
