EXCLUSIVE: Sharman Joshi opens up on getting married to Prerna Chopra a year after his debut; calls himself “Old-School” person

With his charm and noteworthy performances, actor Sharman Joshi made himself a household name. The actor maintained a balanced professional and personal life. A year after marking his debut on the screen, the actor tied the knot in 2000. Recently, in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the actor opened up about making this decision and how it was a choice for him.

Elaborating on the matter, Joshi said, “People are really concerned with your work and I'm a little old school thought wala banda. Whenever I thought, I'll just date this girl and see where it goes but definitely not get married invariably is to end up wanting to get married and vice versa. It was in my nature. Prerna was the second girl I dated and then we got married.”

 

As he continued, he added, “It is special if you get the right kind of person every which way you want someone whom you love for every aspect of their personality. Then if you can get long because as the relationship progresses. We have three children now. Love means very different things in different times of your relationship or phases of a relationship.”

 

Concluding his take, the Style actor asserted, “But if you find a friend during this time, then the friendship continues and you've not been sailing together. And it's been fun; we're enjoying our relationship.

 

 

For the unversed, Sharman got married to Prerna Chopra, the daughter of popular yesteryear Bollywood villain, Prem Chopra. It is worth mentioning that the duo first met in college and fell in love.
