The highly anticipated Mirzapur: The Movie is gearing up for its theatrical release, taking one of India's most celebrated crime franchises from the streaming space to the big screen. Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, the film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani serving as co-producers, the film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas across the globe on September 4, 2026.

Expanding the story that first began in 2018, Mirzapur: The Movie has been designed as a large-scale cinematic experience. The film features an ensemble cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohitt Maalik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi, and Sonal S Chauhan. It will also bring back several fan-favourite characters, including Divyenndu as Munna Bhaiya, Kulbhushan Kharbanda as Satyanand Tripathi, and Shriya Pilgaonkar as Sweety Gupta, adding another layer of anticipation for longtime followers of the franchise.
