China Box Office: Toilet – Ek Prem Katha collects USD 0.21 million on Day 11 in China; nears the Rs. 100 cr mark

Shree Narayan Singh’s Toilet – Ek Prem Katha starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar is still holding on at the China box office. After opening on a good note the business of the film that witnessed growth in collections over the weekend saw a decline on weekdays. Now on its eleventh day in the Chinese market the film still manages to hold on to a spot in the daily highest grossers list.

 

China Box Office: Toilet – Ek Prem Katha collects USD 0.21 million on Day 11 in China; nears the Rs. 100 cr mark

 

Collecting USD 0.21 million [Rs. 1.42 cr] on Day 11 the total collections of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha that has been retitled to Toilet Hero in China has managed to claim the 9th spot on the daily highest grossers list. However, though the collections of Toilet Hero seem to be dropping by the day, the overall business of the film at the China box office is slowly but steadily inching its way closer to the coveted Rs. 100 cr mark.

 

In fact, currently the total collections of Toilet Hero within the Chinese market are pegged at USD 14.13 million [Rs. 96.18 cr]. Given the fact that Toilet – Ek Prem Katha still manages to draw a selected set of audience to theatres, expectation are that the business of the film will breach the Rs. 100 cr mark at the China box office over the next couple of days.
