John Abraham made his foray into film production with the critically acclaimed film Vicky BO Report Card: Vicky Donor Vs Madras Cafe

 

Donor which was directed by Shoojit Sircar. Now with his second production venture with the

 

same director, Madras Cafe, faring well at the box office, we at Bollywood Hungama

 

decided to compare both films.

 

In this edition of Box Office Report Card, we pit the two films against each other taking into

 

consideration their Opening Day and Opening Weekend collections.

 

As expected, Madras Cafe features better figures in both aspects with Opening Day

 

collections at Rs. 5.17 crore as compared to Vicky Donor at Rs. 1.80 crore. The same

 

trend follows with Madras Cafe amassing a better total of Rs. 20.67 crores on the Opening
