'Andaaz' Celebrations: Rocking:

100 days or silver jubilee celebrations are considered to be a thing of the past. But producer Suneel Darshan decided to celebrate the 100 days completion of ANDAAZ the first universal hit of 2003 at a glittering function on Thursday, August 28 at Hyatt, Sahar. Although all 100 days and silver jubilee functions look and sound the same, with short speeches et al, Suneel Darshan did something that not many producers do. Trophies were presented to each and every distributor and technician of the film at the hands of Karisma Kapoor. Kareena Kapoor was expected at the function as well, but decided to give it a skip since director Anant Balani [director of Kareena starrer CHAMELI] had passed away. Of course, the star cast of ANDAAZ, besides all singers who'd rendered the songs, were present in full force and they were honoured on the occasion as well. The turnout at the party was impressive and like in the film, the two beauty queens turned actresses, Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra, were the cynosure of all eyes. The celebrations continued till the wee hours a rocking affair!
