Everyone's worst fears came true on Friday. For some reason, a section of the industry had a hunch that THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC wouldn't open well at the domestic box-office and the doubts proved true as the morning and matinee shows commenced. The opening was 20% - 30% [at places, lower]. However, the silver lining was the positive word of mouth. The business picked up during the course of the day [50% +] at multiplexes and the general trend is that the film should pick up further over the weekend, at plexes mainly.
The remaining two releases, VIA DARJEELING and THODI LIFE THODA MAGIC, opened to a tepid response.
