Contrary to reports making the rounds, filmmaker Onir hasn't signed any film with Saregama India. The audio company is stepping up on movie production and recently announced allocation of Rs 250 - 300 million (Rs 25 - 30 crores) for production over the next six months.

As per reports, David Dhawan, Apoorva Lakhia, Milan Luthria, Aparna Sen, Rituparno Ghosh and Onir are the directors who have been signed up with the company and work has already commenced on script and story writing for these films.

"Absolutely untrue", clarifies Onir who is currently in Australia busy location scouting for his next film which would be the remake of Chashme Baddoor. "I don't have any idea from where has this news originated. Where did you read it," questions Onir.

On being informed about the source being an India based movie business website which also mentions that his film would go on floors by June, Onir reacts, "No, I haven't signed anything at all. Currentl,y I am busy with number of other films which are in different stages of production. I am not just looking at direction but also producing films in future. Kill Chabbra would be first of my productions to go on floors."
