WKIFF honors Madhur Bhandarkar

The World Kids foundation has organized an award function on the eve of the closing ceremony of World Kids International Film Festival (WKIFF). They will felicitate Director Madhur Bhandarkar by filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and Shailendra Singh, Jt. MD, Percept Holdings by Shree Harshvardhan Patil- Hon. Minister of Women and Child Welfare for their contribution to entertainment with a purpose. The Host of the Evening will be prolific theatre personality Ashok Pandit.
'Entertainment with a Purpose' is the foundation's mantra. Moreover, the prime aim of WKIFF is to introduce the present generation to different cultures and languages and thus establish the universality of human values and experiences through the medium of cinema. The festival showcased the best of International and National award winning films.
The award function will be held at Adlabs, Wadala on December 6 2007.
