'Strangers' shifted ahead by one week

STRANGERS, starring Jimmy Sheirgill and Kay Kay Menon, which was scheduled to hit the screens next week [7th December] along side DUS KAHANIYAAN and KHOYA KHOYA CHAND, has been shifted ahead by one week. The film will now hit the screens on 14th December.
What prompted this last-minute change? “14th December is an open week. Plus, with two talked-about films releasing on 7th December, the business was bound to get divided. Also, 14th December gives us an additional week to pump up the promotion. We’re confident of our product and are sure that an open week will bring in the required audiences to make it a success,” Sharang Sharma, Business Head of Sahara One Motion Pictures, informs me.
