Pixion announces cinematographer's edition

Pixion presents the first ever cinematographer’s edition called ‘CinemArt’ to be held on November 21st’2007 at Mehboob Studios, Bandra. CinemArt’ basically is an attempt to explore the trends and innovations in cinematography.
Through CinemArt, Pixion aims at highlighting the role of DOP in the changing business of India film post production. A free-frame in present time, this event is planned to be a journey to glimpse the movie images of our cinematic future.
It will also serve as an occasion to come face to face with the magical men of Bollywood like Farhan Akhtar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Ashutosh Gowarikar. There will also be a felicitation ceremony whereby the silent magicians like Binod Pradhan, Kiran Deohans, Ravi K Chandran and V Manikandan will be felicitated at Mehboob Studios for their contribution to the Indian Cinema.
Besides the said doyens, CinemArt will also see the coming together of the who’s who of Bollywood including directors, producers, ad film makers and also distributors and film students.
