Anant Mahadevan started his career as an actor with the TV series, Khandaan. He soon switched over to direction with TV series like Indradhanush and Devi. However, he was much acclaimed as 'Pundit Purnaiya' in ‘The Sword of Tipu Sultan’. Mahadevan got his first break in films with Yash Raj productions, in Vijay.
Anant ventured into film direction with Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar. After which came Dil Maange More, Aksar and lately Victoria no.203. From Tv serials to acting and directing in films, Mahadevan has come a long way and now, he is all set to release his next film Aggar starring Tushhar Kapoor, Udita Goswami , Shreyas Talpade, Sophie Chaudhary and Vikas Kalantri.
