Anant Mahadevan started his career as an actor with the TV series, Khandaan. He soon switched over to direction with TV series like Indradhanush and Devi. However, he was much acclaimed as 'Pundit Purnaiya' in ‘The Sword of Tipu Sultan’. Mahadevan got his first break in films with Yash Raj productions, in Vijay.
Anant ventured into film direction with Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar. After which came Dil Maange More and Aksar. Mahadevan is now all set to release his next film Victoria No. 203 starring Jimmy Shergill, Preeti Jhangiani, Anupam Kher, Om Puri and Javed Jaffrey. The film is a remake of the 70’s hit and will release this Friday.
