Sajid Khan is known as the sharp-tongued funny man on television. An exceptionally good actor with an inborn funny bone has turned into director. As far as his acting career in films is concerned, it was in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate when he had faced the camera for the first time. But he gained his popularity as a TV anchor for the shows Ikke Pe Ikka which has now entered the Limca Book of World Records as the longest running musical countdown show. Later, Kehne Mein Kya Harz Hai on Sony gave him a new high as a star anchor. Deal ya no Deal and Sajid No.1 were some others shows which he beautifully anchored.
Interestingly, Sajid had directed a portion of Ram Gopal Varma's segmented horror flick 'Darna Zaroori Hai' which was just one-sixth of the film. But now he is all set with Hey Baby, starring Akshay Kumar, Reitesh Deshmukh, Fardeeen Khan and Vidya Balan in lead.
