What next?

Anurag Basu is yet to make up his mind on his next film. “The next two months after a film’s release are crucial for any film-maker. If the film works, there are offers aplenty. If not, you get into an introspective mood. In my case, after METRO, there’ve been many offers, but I think my immediate film will be with Ronnie [Screwvala of UTV] again,” Anurag informs me.
What is he making next? Anurag says he hasn’t finalized anything yet. But the offers are only getting bigger with each passing day. Rakesh Roshan is toying with the idea of making a film. “We’re still talking,” the talented director adds. Also, Anil Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment has approached him for a film. “I wouldn’t like to comment on it at the moment,” he adds.
