Aamir Khan to sport a baldpate

Aamir Khan is known to go all out to get into the skin of his character. He does it yet again by deciding to go bald for the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit, Ghajini. It is reported that though Aamir was offered to don a wig, the perfectionist chose to actually clean-shave his head. The bald look was demanded by the script and it will be only in the second half of the film.
Aamir is believed to be most comfortable with his Dil Chahta Hai hair-stylist, Avaan Contractor. Hence, Avaan might just do the honors.
Previously, many actors have sacrificed their hair for their roles. Salman Khan did it for Tere Naam and Aditya Panscholi for Musafir. Shabana Azmi and Nandita Das had also shaved their heads for Water, but the shoot was stalled.
