'Jodhaa Akbar' is not postponed

There are strong rumors that UTV has decided to postpone the release of JODHAA AKBAR from 12th October to January 2008 since Ashutosh Gowariker is yet to complete its shooting. Since the post-production would take another 2/3 months, the producers would have very few weeks to launch the music and begin its promotion. Hence, the rumor mongers insist, instead of rushing up on matters, the makers have decided to come on a latter date.
“Absolutely untrue,” Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV denies the development, “The fact is, JODHAA AKBAR is confirmed for 12th October, as on this date. There’s no question of a postponement. Ashutosh is simultaneously working on the post-production of the film. That should ensure its arrival on time.” Another rumor bites the dust!
