Sonu Nigam returns to acting

Sonu Nigam had almost given up acting after his failed attempts of being an actor. But nevertheless the good looking singer has been reading scripts that have made way to his office. And finally he has selected one of them for him to act in.
After his almost forgettable stint in films like Jaani Dushman, Aap Hamare Hote and Love In Nepal the singer will star in another film called Aakhon Aakhon Mein. The film is being directed by Sonu’s dear friend Akashdeep. Reportedly, Sonu had earlier turned down the offer for doing the film, but after he had a look at the script his views changed and now he is extremely excited to do the film. Sonu who is in USA touring at the moment will start shooting for the film as soon as he gets back.
The film is based on a play called Titlee, directed by Alyque Padamsee and included Akashdeep himself along with Sharon Prabhakar as the cast.
