'Fashion' shelved?

Has Madhur Bhandarkar shelved FASHION? There are whispers that Madhur, known for making slice of life films like CHANDNI BAR, PAGE 3, CORPORATE and TRAFFIC SIGNAL, has decided to abandon the project since it's not looking viable.
“What?” Madhur screams as we discuss this new rumor, “Now where did this come from? I won't take a call on this film until I am through with its script. It's definitely not shelved.” After a pause, Madhur comes up with a fitting repartee, “Initially, the rumor mills said that I was vacillating between Priyanka Chopra and Ayesha Takia. And now the project seems to be shelved since its not viable. What next?”
Yep, Madhur continues to make news!
