Nana sings an item number

After Shah Rukh and Amitabh it’s now Nana Patekar who would be seen lending his voice for an item number for Anees Bazmee’s Welcome.
Music director Anand Raj Anand who has composed the music for the film approached Nana to sing the song for Welcome. Reportedly as Nana is not a professional singer Anand Raj Anand had set a dialogue format to make things easier for the actor. But Nana being the perfectionist insisted on singing the song with the proper tune and had no difficulty picking it up.
The song will also feature another music director Shankar Mahadevan, not composing but singing for the same song. It is speculated that Anand Raj Anand is also planning to rope in Anil Kapoor to sing as well. Now that a lot of actors are going the singing way our playback singers better watchout.
