Santoshi brings papa-beta together!

Rajkumar Santoshi, one of the finest directors of the country, is all geared up to start a comedy. Known for making intense films all the while, Santoshi has attempted just one comic fare in his career so far -- ANDAZ APNA APNA. He’s out to make another comedy next!
Reportedly, Santoshi is in talks with Shahid Kapoor and his father Pankaj Kapur to star in the film. “That’s true,” Santoshi informs me, “I’ve met them already. In fact, I’ve had three meetings with Shahid. We’ve decided to work together. Yes, it’s a comedy. Both Pankaj-ji and Shahid are fantastic actors and would carry off the humorous scenes with élan.”
That’s not all, Santoshi is also in talks with Sunny Deol for a project. “We did discuss the possibility of working together, but the script has to be dynamic enough to excite us both. The talks are definitely on,” the maker of GHAYAL and GHATAK states.
Meanwhile, Santoshi has wrapped the shooting of HALLA BOL, starring Ajay Devgan and Vidya Balan. The film is slated for July/August release.
