Anjana to work with AB and Ajay Devgan! Click here to add this article to My Clips

By IndiaFM News Bureau, March 14, 2007 - 05:51 IST

Remember the agile beauty, who played seductress to Anil Kapoor in Salaam-e-Ishq? Anjana Sukhani, who made her Bollywood debut with Hum Dum, is on a high as she has now got a chance to work with industry bigwigs Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan!

Anjana has recently shot a television commercial for Cadbury with AB. “I am doing an ad with Mr. Bachchan for Cadbury. I just went for the audition for this ad after Salaam-e-Ishq, and I got it,” quips the actress. Anjana was excited to do the Cadbury ad, more so because it was with the Big B himself. Anjana is all in awe of him. “It was very nice working with Mr. Bachchan. He came across as a very warm and caring person.” She recalls, “I was standing in the sun for a shot. When he saw me, he sent a boy from the unit to get me a chair and an umbrella. There was not much interaction in terms of talking. But whatever he did was very sweet.” This Cadbury commercial will be on air sometime during the Cricket World Cup. Although she refuses to divulge much about the ad, she says “It is a very sweet concept”… sure, in keeping with the chocolate brand’s image!

Anjana also confirms about her film with Ajay Devgan, “Yes I have signed a film called Sunday with him”. Sunday is directed by Rohit Shetty of Golmaal fame. The film also stars Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan, and Ayesha Takia.
