UTV Motion Pictures will release three diverse films in March. Mira Nair’s THE NAMESAKE opened in U.S. on 9th March with rave reviews, which will be followed by I THINK I LOVE MY WIFE, starring Chris Rock, on 16th March in U.S. The two films are co-productions with Fox Searchlight.
THE NAMESAKE will release in India on 23rd March with a global release of 1150 prints that includes countries like U.S.A., U.K., France, Switzerland, India, New Zealand, Italy and Spain. Spends on marketing and prints worldwide will be approx. US $ 10 million.
Meanwhile, Milan Luthria’s HATTRICK! will open globally on 16th March.
