Shemaroo forays into animation with Ghatothkach

Popular entertainment Company Shemaroo India has now taken its first step into the animation industry with a film called Ghatothkach - Master of Magic
Claiming to be India’s first feature-length 2D musical film, Ghatothkach will be an entertainer for the entire family, and will also have elements
in classic Bollywood style, as it will have magic, action, romance, comedy, and fantasy. This animation film has tried to capture the story of
Ghatothkach – son of Bhim and Hidimba – lovingly called “Ghattu” and his magical escapades, is an interesting chapter from Indian
mythology. Apparently, it will also have foot-tapping numbers that will be adored by the kids.
The film has been directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. It has been made at Hyderabad-based Sun Animatics studio. He has also been the director
of several internationally acclaimed films like the silent movie Pushpak and Appu Raja.
Ghatothkach is in the post-production stage and will release soon this year.
