A true dost!

It’s said that Shah Rukh Khan would go to any lengths to stand by his friends. In the past, when friends like Karan Johar [KAAL], Khalid Mohamed [SILSIILAY], Samar Khan [KUCHH MEETHA HO JAYE] and Arjun Rampal [I SEE YOU] approached the King Khan to make a friendly appearance in their films, the actor obliged pronto.
Sometime back, SRK decided to back MY NAME IS ANTHONY GONSALVES, which stars his friend Nikhil Dwivedi in the lead and is directed by E. Niwas. The latest is, SRK has decided to be a part of the film. Reportedly, a video featuring the actor will be used for promotional purposes.
However, Niwas denies the development outright. “No, SRK isn’t associated with the film in the capacity of an actor,” he tells me. Perhaps, the makers want to keep the news under wraps and make a splash when the promotions begin. Let’s wait-n-watch…
