Suniel Shetty, Govinda, Kay Kay get Fame

Samir Sheth started his career three years back with a short feature film titled War or Peace. The film starring Rhea Pillai won three international awards and was also screened at Cannes. But now, Sheth has decided to produce a full fledged commercial film. The film has been tentatively titled Fame and will star Suniel Shetty, Govinda and Kay Kay Menon. The film will be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
Speaking about the film, Samir says that the film is a based on the clash between the star system that exists in Bollywood and the intruding nature of the electronic media.
Samir has signed Anjori Alagh to play the female lead in the film. Anjori is highly excited about this film. “I am starring opposite Suniel Shetty in Fame. Govinda and Kay Kay Menon also star in the film. I am very much excited because Suniel Shetty belongs to a completely different league of actors” says Anjori. “They all are very established high level actors. These are the people I watched while growing up and always dreamt of working with. Doing this film for me is like taking a step ahead which I am very excited about. For me it is going to be a fabulous learning experience because these people I am sure going to teach me a lot” she adds.
Samir Sheth is also looking for two more actresses and is currently in talks with Kangana Ranaut and Konkana Sen Sharma. The film has a modest budget and therefore will be shot mainly in Mumbai. Fame will go on floors by June this year.
