Eros Intl. to mete out Nishabd overseas

Eros International – a leading Bollywood media and entertainment company, has acquired rights for distribution of Ram Gopal Varma’s Nishabd.
Eros, a global player in the Bollywood arena, will now distribute Nishabd in the international market. Nishabd is the story of unusual love between a 60-year old man (played by Amitabh Bachchan) and an 18-year old girl (played by debutante Jiah Khan). After handling projects like the critically acclaimed Omkara and Nikhil Advani’s romantic drama Salaam-e-Ishq, Eros has a lot on its plate for coming months including Nishabd, Namastey London and the much talked about Aishwarya Rai starrer Provoked.
Nishabd, which has been is directed by Ram Gopal Varma and co-produced by Adlabs, is slated for a March 2 release. Simultaneous to the India release, Eros will release Nishabd internationally on the same date.
