Lyricist Praveen Bharadwaj turns music director

Popular lyricist Praveen Bharadwaj turned music director with a romantic album 'Tanhaai …Can Listen The Silence'. The audio was released by Champak Jain of Venus. Jackie Shroff specially came in for 15 minutes to give his best wishes and support. Praveen Bharadwaj, who has written lyrics for more then 75 Hindi films in about six years, says, "I have reached my place as a lyricist and to grow further, music direction is the natural extension. I am happy that my first album is with a company like Venus. My first film as a music director, Vash is also ready for release."
While releasing the album, Champak Jain commented that Venus was happy to be part of this album. "Today there are very few original albums that are good. Tanhaai… is a very good album and songs are hummable."
Praveen Bharadwaj started his career with Kem Che song in Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai. He was given this opportunity by Jackie Shroff who had produced the film. Jackie Shroff recollects, "I still remember the time when I had given the opportunity to Praveen. I am happy that today he has grown so much that he is launching somebody else (the singer of the album – Sumit Kaul)”
Praveen Bharadwaj has written lyrics for successful hit albums like Hasrat, Tera Mera Pyar and Bewafaai. He has penned lyrics for many hit songs like Zahareeli Ratein from Chocolate, 'Dil diwana’ from Janasheen, 'Humne tumko dil ye de diya’ from Gunaah, 'Kuchh qasmein hai jawaan' from Aankhen, and 'Thoda sa pyar hua hai... ' from Maine Dil Tujhko Diya.
