Seema Biswas in a bi-lingual film Amal

After giving a remarkable performance in Vishram Sawant’s Risk, Seema Biswas has signed a bi-lingual film Amal. It revolves around the life of a rickshaw driver and stars Naseerudin Shah, Roshan Seth and a newcomer Rupinder. The film will be made both in Hindi and English.
According to Seema, Amal will be produced by a Canadian production house and will be directed by a Toronto based filmmaker Rishi Mehta. Seema says, “Rishi met me at the Toronto film festival and offered me to play a lawyer in Amal. The story is set in Delhi. Apart from this, I will be doing Deepa Mehta’s Kamagata Maru. I am also doing N Chandra’s forthcoming film Breaking News.”
