Madhur Bhandarkar has been associated with the International Film & TV Research Centre of the Asian Academy Of Film and television, Noida. He began his career by assisting Ram Gopal Varma. After five years, he broke free and directed his first film, 'Trishakti' (1999). The talented writer-cum-director is famed for making candid, hard-hitting films like Chandni Bar, Page3, and Corporate. All of his films have been critically acclaimed.
His latest project Traffic Signal, a movie about the poverty and the crude city-life, has released last week and received very positive reviews.
