Shilpa wins Celebrity Big Brother

The Celebrity-studded reality show Big Brother made for British television announced Bollywood Shilpa Shetty as a winner of the world’s biggest reality show on Sunday, an 28. Shilpa has been in news for a while now, due to the racist comments passed on her by the members of the house. The event got her enough coverage from world media and now she has won the show and will be walking away with the cash prize of about Rs.86 lakhs.
Now that Shilpa Shetty has won after spending 26 days in the Big Brother house, the Asian community in Britain is very happy. When the incident of racism took place in the Big Brotehr house, the Asian communities stood by her and they feel that Shilpa’s victory is a clear indication of the fact that there is no room for racism in Britain.
Shilpa however, defends her tormenters Jade Goody, Jo O'Meara and Danielle Lloyd saying that they aren’t really racist. According to her, she had forgiven her tormentors and its time to move on. Apart from the prize money she has also signed endorsement and contracts worth Rs 45 crore.
Shilpa’s forthcoming movies include Anil Sharma’s Apne, Anurag Basu’s Metro and Roger Mende’s Forever.
