'Wicket Bacha'

Music videos are the ‘in’ thing in Bollywood. Almost every keenly-anticipated film makes a special video that’s played in the end credits of the film and also used for promotion prior to the film’s release. A number of videos have caught our fancy in the past… Now get set for the stylish video of UTV’s HAT TRICK, directed by Milan Luthria.
Pritam has composed a catchy song, ‘Wicket Bacha’, which has been rendered by Usha Uthup. The male voice is expected to be Apache Indian. “We’re in negotiations with him,” Milan tells me, “HAT TRICK is about cricket and ‘Wicket Bacha’ gives you a feel of the film.” Milan had earlier shot a video [‘Meter Down’] for TAXI NO. 9211, which proved very popular during its release.
Participating in the filming of this video is the principal star cast -- Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, Danny Denzongpa, Kunal Kapoor, Rimi Sen and cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle, who also enacts a key role in HAT TRICK. Also, Usha Uthup will be a part of the video. “We wanted to film the video after we were through with the shooting. The video marks the completion of the film and also gives us a reason to celebrate. It’s going to be one big party on the sets,” Milan smiles.
