Red-hot videos for 'Red'

One film that’s creating a strong buzz with each passing day is Vikram Bhatt-directed RED – THE DARK SIDE, produced by Sunil Chainani and Sameer Srivastava. Initially slated for 2nd February release, its release date has been pushed ahead by three weeks, to 23rd February, since the makers want to promote it further.
“Initially, we had planned to make one video exclusively for promotion, but looking at the response to the songs, we’ve decided to make three videos now,” Vikram Bhatt informs me, “Also, the music company [T-Series] was of the opinion that it would only benefit the film if we shifted its release date ahead, as they would get ample time to intensify the promotion. That’s why we decided on 23rd February,” Vikram adds.
But a slew of movies are slated for release on 23rd February. “A few might make it, a few might not. As long as you’re sure of yourself, you’ve nothing to fear,” Vikram states. Incidentally, of the three videos being shot, only one will be retained in the film and that too during the end credits.
