3000 cops to run Marathon wearing Traffic Signal shirts

Percept Picture Company (PPC) and Mumbai Traffic Police came together on January 18, 2007 to celebrate the spirit of Mumbai and support the courageous cause of ‘Unbreakable Mumbai’. Percept Picture Company presented PPC branded T shirts to over 2000 – 3000 Mumbai Traffic Police, who will then participate in the Mumbai Marathon. The eminent personalities present for the event were Mr. Satish Mathur, Traffic Police Commissioner, Mr. Preet Bedi, CEO, Percept Picture Company, Madhur Bhandarkar, Neetu Chandra.
Percept Picture Company’s with their most awaited film of the year, Traffic Signal has taken a step ahead by appreciating the laudable efforts undertaken by Mumbai Traffic Police towards ‘Unbreakable Mumbai’.
Mumbai being the commercial capital of the nation, Traffic Police has been the backbone of the city, ensuring smooth flow of Traffic and minimal accident rate.
Says Madhur Bhandarkar, the director of Traffic Signal “During the making of Traffic Signal, I came into the proximity of the functioning and intricacies of Traffic Police. We have tried our best to showcase the strong sense of discipline of Mumbai Traffic Police in our film.”
Traffic Signal is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and stars Kunal Khemu, Neetu Chandra, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ranvir Shorey and Sudhir Mishra.
