Exclusive: Hrithik Roshan in Akbar's get-up Click here to add this article to My Clips

By IndiaFM News Bureau, January 19, 2007 - 11:41 IST

This is the first ever picture of Hrithik Roshan’s in the get up of Emperor Akbar that has come out in the media. As you know, Hrithik Roshan plays Emperor Akbar in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Jodhaa Akbar. Aishwarya Rai plays Jodhaa, Akbar’s wife, in the film.

The film has been protected from media eye since the shooting started. Though news relating to the film’s shoot kept appearing in the media, the pictures of Hrithik Roshan or Aishwarya Rai in their respective get ups weren’t ever released.

The above picture however, was taken in Rajasthan, at Sambhar, where Gowarikar was doing an outdoor shoot of the film. Hrithik Roshan can be seen in his new avatar, that of the Mughal Emperor. This will be the first time that you will see Hrithik in a moustache look.

With actors like Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai playing some of the most majestic characters in the history of India and with talented man like Ashutosh Gowarikar in the director’s seat, this film will definitely be a royal treat for us.
